Digital Art
I was working dead-end retail jobs, barely scraping by, when I discovered Procreate on a friend's iPad. Started doodling during my lunch breaks just to kill time. What began as mindless sketching turned into my obsession. I'd come home exhausted but still spend hours learning new techniques, watching tutorials until 3am. My family thought I was wasting time playing with a tablet. Six months in, I posted my first commission piece online and someone actually paid me fifty dollars for it. That felt surreal. I kept practicing, building my portfolio, slowly raising my prices. The breakthrough came when a small business hired me to design their logo. Then their friend needed illustrations. Word spread. Fast forward two years and I'm booked solid, working with clients I only dreamed of reaching. Digital art didn't just give me a career, it gave me confidence, creative fulfillment, and complete control over my schedule. Sometimes the thing you do for fun becomes the thing that sets you free.
